CLIMBING INSPECTIONS

MFD carries out a variety of surveys and inspections of radio masts for Ministry of Defence, Police and Crime Commissioners, other emergency services and security authorities throughout the UK and overseas.

MFD employs a core team of engineers and technicians, suitably qualified and equipped to ‘work at height’.

• Safe-to-Climb Certification

Typically the structures we survey include:

• Guyed masts
• Towers
• Roof top installations

In response to our inspections, MFD supports our clients by developing a forward maintenance register, giving clients guidance on priorities such as immediate actions or long term general maintenance requirements.

In addition, and as an independent expert, MFD is engaged to provide post installation audits, ensuring the structure has been erected in accordance with the specification and in line with the appropriate standards.
