MFD Contributes Towards New Edition Blast Effects Book

In recognition of our unique expertise in the area of security consulting, one of MFD's Directors was recently asked to contribute towards a new book, giving up to date advice on blast effects, security and protecting buildings and people. MFD has contributed towards one of the key new chapters of the book, Vehicle Borne Threats and the Principles of Hostile Vehicle Mitigation, looking at perimeter protection and the prevention of hostile vehicles accessing buildings and sites. The book entitled Blast Effects on Buildings, Second Edition, will be available from Thomas Telford Books (www.thomastelford.com).
