Civil & Structural AutoCAD RC Designer/Detailer (Job ref: C/RCD/005)
We have a vacancy for a full-time RC Designer Detailer to work in the Civil & Structural Department preparing CAD based design solutions in 2D, producing specialist RC foundation solutions (migrating to 3D solutions as the practice adopts BIM design technologies).
Candidates must have:
- Minimum HNC or equivalent
- Experience in Civil & Structural 2D RC Designer Detailer using AutoCAD, with a minimum of 5 years experience and good IT skills working with a Civil/Structural contractor or design consultant
- Experience of preparing Civil/Structural layouts of all materials and all structural forms
- Demonstrable highway construction knowledge would be beneficial
- The ability to set and maintain company drawing standards within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System and relevant British Standards.

- Blast Analysis and Dynamic Design
- Hostile Vehicle Mitigation Design
- Physical Security Building Fabric Design
Full training in the above specialisms is offered in the form of project design experience, courses and attendance of trials, in order to attain membership of the Resister of Security Engineers and Specialists (RSES).

Current programmes of work necessitate additional qualified chartered engineers to work with us in the UK.
You will need to have demonstrable knowledge of design and inspection of complex structures, with the ability to work independently whilst coordinating with our Account Manager and client.
