Tributes to MFD Founder

Paul moved to Romsey, Hampshire in 1975, where he set up a consultancy company, which developed into our present MFD Group, and 35 years on, our Head Office still remains in Romsey and MFD continues to thrive.

Paul was a specialist in the field of electrical and environmental services engineering and had particular interest in the use of energy recycling for buildings. He travelled abroad extensively, helping to develop the firm, and spent considerable time expanding MFD’s Saudi Arabian office in Jeddah. Paul retired in 1997, but continued to support the company in many ways. Although the company and business practices have changed greatly over the years, those who worked with Paul remember him fondly as a very ‘hands on’ Director, who never minded ‘mucking in’ when the need arose.

Paul’s memory will live on in the legacy of the MFD Group and he will be remembered by his colleagues as a very caring man, of great warmth and jovial enthusiasm, with a huge personality and enormous affection for his family and friends around him. He will be greatly missed, but not forgotten.
