Manager of Building Services

MFD, established in 1975, is a firm of multi-disciplined consulting engineers and security advisors, working in the civilian and military sectors, in the UK and overseas.

The successful person will lead, and most importantly, develop our small department of mechanical, electrical and electronic engineers.

The successful candidate shall:

• be a degree qualified or equivalent chartered mechanical/mechanical building services engineer

• have at least 10 years’ experience in consulting engineering

• be able to demonstrate marketing and management experience, along with excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivation

• be able to demonstrate sound technical skills and understanding of current building services practices

• be able to work successfully with other managers and engineers of other disciplines within the company

• be willing to work in the UK and overseas as and when required

• have a desire to be involved in technically difficult and unusual projects

• be prepared to be involved with, and actively support, the institutions and associations we belong to.
